How is it possible that gardening is different now than what it was in the past? Well, the answer is, new things were introduced and gradually our gardening experience became way more pleasant than it used to be.
How do you think people watered their gardens? They didn’t have hoses, so they used buckets. And someone had to carry it from the well (water source) to the garden. Women and children would do that.
What you’ll find interesting is how they battled pests and insects. In fact, how they didn’t.
