(Video) How To Build A Support For Any Type Of Tomato And Grow It Strong

Here is the type of support you need to offer the determinate or indeterminate tomato varieties

Any gardener who has ever grown tomatoes knows how much they need support in order to stay healthy and grow strong, literally. They can’t grow tall and stand upward on their own without proper support.

Otherwise, they will gradually lean towards the ground and will be prone to diseases and pests. You don’t want that of course.

On the other hand, even if you have provided support for your tomatoes, are you sure this is the right type for the variety you grow?

There are certain specifics you need to keep in mind. To learn about them, watch the video below.

Compost In The City: Here’s What This Start-Up Did

How these Austin, Texas cyclists have changed the way citizens think of trash

Instead of dumping 1.3 billion tons of food leftovers, a group of young people in Austin, Texas, decided to take things in their hands.

They united together with Compost Pedallers in order to start delivering the food waste to farmers instead of leaving it to rot in huge waste piles.

The general idea is that waste will be transported (by Compost Pedallers) to farmers, who are partners of the company. In this way, organic matter will no longer be wasted, but in fact used for composting purposes.

Such initiatives should be a lesson for other local communities too, and will hopefully inspire other people to take the matter in their hands.
